American Emmy Award-Winning Producer Ben Feigin Dies At 47
Ben Feigin passed away due to pancreatic cancer at 47. He was the founder and CEO of Equation Unlimited, LLC. United Talent Agency confirmed his death. Ben Feigin was involved as an executive producer on ‘Schitt’s Creek’.
He has credited the architecture of the series of unconventional models. For the final session of this series, he got an American Emmy Award for his outstanding comedy series, ‘Schitt’s Creek’.
Besides this, he also received PGA award for outstanding producer of episodic television for comedy. Plus, Golden Globe for best musical or comedy television series. For ‘Schitt’s Creek’, Ben Feigei received the GLAAD award for best comedy series in 2020 and 2021.
This comedy genre made him popular among the mass. He was born in Silver Spring, Maryland. Before starting work, Ben graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Then he joined William Morris, where he met with his wife. They worked with multiple renowned directors and series. He worked under Warner Bros to overview popular series like ER, Friends and The West Win.
Ben also worked on Cheech & Chong, the reunion of the comedy duo. Later on, Ben Feigin became an executive producer of 2008’s ‘Cheech & Chong: Roasted’ and a concert film in 2010, ‘Cheech & Chong: Hey Watch This’.
In his early life of Career, Ben Feigin taught classes at Los Angeles, the University of California, and New York University. However, Ben was involved with non-profit work, including contributions to Gilda’s Club World-Wide, StandUp2Cancer, Tony Hawk Foundation, and the Creative Coalition.
Donations on behalf of Ben can be made to Stand Up to Cancer. According to the source, Services will be held Thursday, 26 October 2022, at Mount Sinai Cemetery Hollywood Hills. His wife, Heidi Feigin, and 11 years old daughter, Ellie, will be there.
