Ariana Grande Shared A Sneak Peak Into The Trailer Of “The Boy Is Mine” And Revealed The Release Date
The release date for Ariana Grande’s music video “The Boy Is Mine” is set. She posted a short but intriguing preview of the music video through her Instagram profile on the 27th of May. She captioned the post “meow,” and it is going to be released on June 7th Friday.
The preview of the music video shows an unidentified actor pouring a drink down and filling a sink in the washroom with ice, where he dunks his face. And there is a claw-like glove-wearing hand creeping around in the doorframe close by.
However, before the viewer can notice or figure out who or what is behind that door, the title of the date and the release date come on the screen. A few days back, Grande posted a few pictures on her Instagram handle, which the fans speculated to be from the set of the music video.
The Anticipation is High, and Grande is Prepared for the Release
She wore a cat-ear headband in those photographs and had “BE MINE” and “TRUE LOVE” hearts fixed on a wall, just next to the painted portrait. It showed the subject of the picture from the bottom lip to the shoulders. And there was no caption to those pictures.
Christian Breslauer, the director who worked on visuals for both “We Can’t Be Friends” and “Yes, And?” from the Eternal Sunshine album, commented on the teaser and also shared the post on his own Instagram profile. He wrote, “Get your popcorn, take your seats.”
Moreover, Grande is all set to drop “The Boy Is Mine,” and the single “We Can’t Be Friends,” which is number 1 on Billboard’s Pop Airplay as of May 25.
