NCB hasn’t named Aryan Khan and five others- Gopal Anand, Avi”n Shahu, Samir Saighan, Manav Singhal, and Bhaskar Aroda in the charge sheet. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) said that they have been cleared all charges due to “lack of proper evidence.”
In a statement released on Saturday, the Anti Drugs Agency said it conducted the investigation in an “objective” manner. They looked for proof against Aryan Khan going beyond the reasonable doubt.
Last year, the NCB said, “Based on an input, NCB Mumbai had on October 2, 2021, intercepted Vikrant, Ishmeet, Arbaaz, Aryan and Gomit at International Port Terminal, Mumbai Port Trust, and Nupur, Mohak and Munmum at the Cordelia Cruise. All the accused persons were found in possession of narcotics except Aryan and Mohak.”
On Friday, May 27, after 7 months after Khan’s arrest, the SIT team re-analyzed the case and found insufficient evidence to go after the matters against King Khan’s son as well as the others.
