8. The One with Phoebe’s Dad: Season 2, Episode 9
The very first episode on the list of Friends Christmas episodes has to be the show’s very first episode. The show’s first Christmas special follows Monica trying to top everyone with cookies and not money, which does not really work out well.
As Rachel and Ross have a fight, Joey and Chandler forget to get presents while Phoebe tries to find her father.
7. The One Where Rachel Quits: Season 3, Episode 10
Rachel finally quits her job as a waiter at Central Perk after Chandler and Joey advises her on following her true calling in fashion. Ross ends up breaking the leg of a Girl Scout and, in the process, ends up selling her cookies, trying to make it up to her. Phoebe finds out that all dead trees on Christmas go under the chopper.
6. The One with the Girl from Poughkeepsie: Season 4, Episode 10
Ross happens to be torn between a girl who lives nearby and one who resides in Poughkeepsie. Chandler sets Rachel up on a date that doesn’t go well, while Joey tries to get Monica a favor at her work.
Phoebe, on the other hand, writes a song for her friends on Christmas but struggles to get the lyrics to rhyme.
5. The One with the Inappropriate Sister: Season 5, Episode 10
Rachel finds out that the man she is going out with (Danny) happens to be obsessed with his own sister. The three guys deal with conflict since they are sharing one apartment at a time, while Phoebe tries to collect cash for everyone in need on Christmas.
4. The One with the Routine: Season 6, Episode 10
Monica and Ross try to steal the Christmas show while Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve is being taped. Joey wants a midnight kiss from the beautiful Janine. On the other hand, Rachel, Phoebe, and Chandler frantically look for Monica’s presents for everyone back at home.
3. The One with the Holiday Armadillo: Season 7, Episode 10
This episode is not just about Christmas but also about Hanukkah, which is a traditional Jewish festival. So, Ross decides to teach his son, Ben, about Jewish traditions by dressing up like an armadillo.
But Chandler appears dressed up as Santa, which impresses Ben so much more, not before Joey appears dressed up as Superman. Meanwhile, Phoebe attempts to get Rachel to move out of Joey’s apartment so that she can start living with Phoebe again.
2. The One with the Creepy Holiday Card: Season 8, Episode 11
In this episode, Ross’ girlfriend Mona decides to send Christmas cards on behalf of her and Ross.
A flustered Ross tries to voice his concerns to Mona over this drastic step. Rachel is pregnant and trying to deal with hormonal issues. On the other hand, Chandler attempts to avoid his terrible boss.
1. The One with Christmas in Tulsa: Season 9, Episode 10
We can’t talk about the best Friends Christmas episodes and not mention the winner! In this episode, Chandler makes a big decision!
After a female colleague makes a pass at him, Chandler quits his job and comes back home, much to the happiness of Monica and his friends. The episode is also a winner because of several crazy flashbacks.
