Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Children Not Included In The Couple’s 2023 Holiday Card
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle unveiled their holiday card for 2023 on Friday, and just like last year, the 2023 holiday card also does not include the couple’s children – Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Instead, the holiday card features a photo of the couple from this year’s Invictus game which was held in September in Düsseldorf, Germany. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are cheering and clapping in the photo, which was taken during the closing ceremony of the 2023 Invictus Games when the US Team walked onstage.
The couple chose a glamorous yet elegant look for the occasion. Prince Harry is sporting a black suit and black dress shirt underneath, and Meghan Markle looked stunning in a teal strapless dress featuring delicate flower details all over by Cult Gaia.
The virtual holiday card was shared over email as the ex-royal couple no longer have an account on any social media platforms.
The 2023 holiday card sent “on behalf of the office of Prince Harry & Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundations” reads, “We wish you a very Happy Holiday season. Thanks for all the support in 2023!” written on a festive dark green background with small white dots all over.
The card also includes a link to the Archewell Foundation impact report. The report also contains a video of the couple’s various charitable works throughout the year 2023.
The release of the couple’s annual holiday card comes hours after the news that Harry won a lawsuit against the Mirror Group for phone hacking. He was awarded £140,000. In a statement read out by his lawyer, Prince Harry said, “I’ve been told that slaying dragons will get you burned but in light of today’s victory and the importance of doing what is needed for a free and honest press, it is a worthwhile price to pay. The mission continues.”
