Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Trailer Officially Drops After Leak On Social Media

The Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer was supposed to be an exclusive launch for the Comic-Con attendees. But, looks like we have got a leak on social media. No amount of MCU security ultimately could hold the trailer launch from unauthorized recording, right?

The Most Awaited Trailer Launch

Tom Rothman, the CEO of Sony Motion Pictures Group, unveiled the trailer, including statements from Tom Holland and Benedict Cumberbatch. In this film, Peter Parker confronts his most ruthless nemesis to date: the past. The clip confirms the multiverse premise of “No Way Home,” which will bring Holland together with villains from prior Spider-Man films after nearly a year of conjecture.

We see Holland telling Zendaya in the trailer:

“For the record, I never wanted to lie to you.”

Zendaya will resume her role as MJ, with Jacob Batalon reprising his part as Ned Leeds. We also see in the trailer leak Marisa Tomei reprising her role as Aunt May, Benedict Wong taking his place as Wong, and Jon Favreau reprising his role as Happy Hogan. Jon Watts is back to direct the third film in the Holland franchise.

The reappearance of Dr. Otto Octavius, popularly known as Doctor Octopus, was confirmed in the trailer leak. Parker rushes to Doctor Strange for a supernatural answer, hoping to find a spell to undo the major reveal and restore the status quo. After faux-superhero Mysterio revealed Parker’s true identity at the end of “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” the official 3-minute video depicts Peter Parker’s new challenging life.

Aside from Molina’s return, Foxx recently stated in a now-deleted Instagram post that he would reprise his 2014 role as Electro in Marc Webb’s “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.”

What We Feel

Fans worldwide are excited to see this new sneak peek of this most anticipated movie of this year. Finally, it looks like Peter Parker’s average high school life won’t be so ordinary anymore. But, some of them are still agitated because the trailer did not explain how the multiverse broke down on Tom Holland. But it looks like we have to wait for the movie to get all our answers, right?

Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, the Spider-Men who battled Doc Ock and Electro in their own franchises, fans are waiting for their return in this new movie. People have submitted several petitions online so that they can see the return for the cross-universe extravaganza. However, no official announcements have yet been made.

Final Thoughts

We think the combination of Electro, Doc Ock, and Spider-Man is insane. It is testing our nerves this time; it looks like. But, fans are still waiting for an answer to the appearance of Tobey Maguire’s question, and they have not got any confirmation or denial from the trailer launch for that. We hope e get some news on it from the MCU people soon enough.
