Steve Harvey Shares Friendly Hug With Daughter Lori Harvey’s Ex Micheal B.Jordan A Year After Their Breakup

It has been a year since Lori Harvey, Steve Harvey’s daughter, and Micheal B. Jordan broke up and now we know that Steve Harvey has no hard feelings for his daughter’s ex. In fact, the two appeared to be on quite good terms in a video posted on Twitter. In the video, Michael B. Jordan and Steve Harvey were seen exchanging a handshake, followed by a warm bear hug courtside at the NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2023 on Thursday. The duo hugged for a few minutes and also exchanged a few words with each other. Both of them were all smiles the whole time.

The Encounter Happened After More Than A Year…

This encounter between the “Family Feud” host and the “Black Panther” Star took place more than a year after the split between Lori Harvey and Michael B. Jordan in June 2022. Before the split-up, Harvey, 26 and Jordan, 36 had been dating each other since the Fall of 2020.

The break-up was actually confirmed by Steve Harvey, 66, during his morning radio show and it was amicable. While talking about the break-up, he had said “Look, as long as everyone can walk away in peace, be friends … I ain’t heard nobody say they busted no windows or nothing.”

The TV personality also did not forget to mention that he was “Team Lori” and added, “She’s my daughter. I love her. I support her.”

While talking to People about Jordan and Harvey’s split, a source revealed that “Michael matured a lot over the course of their relationship and was ready to commit for the long term.” The source also went on to say, “He let down his guard with her, opening up emotionally in a romantic relationship for the first time. They had great times together and brought out the best in each other.”

Whatever his feelings may have been, Micheal B. Jordan seems to have moved on. In his opening monologue, while hosting SNL in January, the “Creed III” director mentioned that he is single and ready to mingle.
