Tupac Shakur Murder Suspect Arrested By Las Vegas Cops After 30 years
Las Vegas Police on Friday arrested a man who is said to have been involved in the murder of Rapper Tupac Shakur in September 1996. According to the Body Cam Footage from the arrest of Duane “Keefe D” Davis which TMZ released, the man could be seen going for a morning walk in a residential street. The footage shows that when Las Vegas Cops pull up beside him to tell him that he is being arrested, he doesn’t resist at all and calmly complies with the police. The only time he could be seen complaining is when he says that he is “thirsty as f***” for the bottled water” that he is carrying.
When the cops try to put him in the car, he can be heard telling the police that he is a “pro” and goes to sit in the front of the car. He was even seen talking in a casual manner with one of the officers who arrested him. It is clear from his reaction and body manner that “Keefe D” knows very well why he is being arrested.
Davis was charged with one count of murder with a deadly weapon and gang enhancement. He will appear in court this week for the very first time.
“Keefe D” Davis Long Considered To Be One Of The Four Murder Suspects…
The man known as Duane “Keefe D” Davis’ was long considered one of the suspects in the murder of Tupac Shakur by investigators. At a press conference held after his arrest and at court, the Las Vegas Police mentioned that while “Keefe D” Davis wasn’t the gunman who shot Tupac, he was the ringleader.
Las Vegas Police Homicide Lt. Jason Johansson commented that, “Duane Davis was the shot caller for this group of individuals that committed this crime and he orchestrated the plan that was carried out.”
In Las Vegas, Nevada, a person who has helped commit a crime such as murder can be charged for committing that same crime.
The cops also revealed that it is Davis’ own interviews where he talked about his involvement in Tupac’s murder case that led to the reopening of the case and subsequently his arrest.
