B-Town Is In Love With The New Jodi Rajkumar Rao And Patralekha: Congratulations To The Happiest Couple

Rajkumar Rao married his soulmate and best friend after 11 years of love on Monday, 15th November 2021. He married the stunning actor Patralekha Rao, who made her debut in the 2014 release, Citylights. The couple seems to be wholeheartedly happy on this joyous occasion, and Rajkumar Rao even shared a few pictures on Instagram to give us a sneak peek of the ceremony.

How Did The Duo First Meet?

Patralekha spoke to ‘Humans of Bombay’ about her sweet love tale with Rajkumar Rao, which went viral on Facebook. The actor said that she first saw Rao in the film ‘Love, Sex, aur Dhoka’ and immediately assumed the strange character he played in the movie was his real-life character.

So, Rajkumar’s opinion of him had already been tainted in front of Patralekha. But, on the other hand, Rao said that the first time she saw Patralekha was in an advertisement, and it was love at first sight for the actor. 

The duo even shared screen space in Hansal Mehta’s ‘Citylights,’ which was wonderful once they started working together. He had a great love for everything he did, and he’d drag everybody together with him like a whirlwind. He made sure that not just he but everyone performed their best, and it was something that attracted Patralekha.

Slowly, the couple began to discuss their jobs, their love of movies, and their enthusiasm. She has seen him persevere in the face of adversity. Soon, they started going on dates and even began to go to auditions together. Thus, they have had each other’s backs for all the years.

Rajkumar Rao And Patralekha Finally Ring Their Wedding Bells

They’ve been dating for 11 years and have spent the last few years living together. The couple married in Chandigarh at a luxurious resort before a small group of friends and relatives. The film stars who were allegedly present at the event were actors Huma Qureshi, Saqib Saleem, and Aditi Rao Hydari.

Patralekha donned a crimson wedding saree, while the actor wore a cream-colored sherwani. Her veil was adorned with pledges of love written in Bengali, which is her native tongue. The two were photographed holding hands and smiling fondly at one other. Rajkummar was photographed applying scarlet vermillion to his bride’s forehead, as is customary during Hindu weddings.

Although the duo shared wedding photos on their Insta handle, we are waiting for some unofficial wedding pics to track the behind-the-scenes of this ceremony.
