Bradley Cooper Ditches ‘Maestro’ Press Conference After Getting Call From Daughter’s School Nurse
Bradley Cooper is a responsible parent first and an actor second.
The 48-year-old actor was at a press conference for his latest movie ‘Maestro’ streaming on Netflix, when he excused himself to talk to his daughter Lea’s school nurse.
“So sorry. The school nurse just called me.” Cooper informed the journalists present in the room. “Can I just leave the room for a second to call them back, and you can keep going? Is that all right?” He asked them before exiting the room to talk to his daughter’s school nurse.
Bradley Cooper came back to the room shortly after to announce, “’I have to go to the school to do something with Lea that needs… I have to apply something that they won’t allow…. I have to do it, so it’s like a 10-minute walk.”
Cooper shares custody of daughter Lea with former partner Irina Shayk whom he was in a relationship for four years from 2015 to 2019. Both Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk are on amicable terms with each other and spend time with each other often for special occasions, such as walking their daughter to school on her first. Recently the supermodel also stopped by Bradley Cooper’s food truck in New York City with daughter Lea.
The six-year-old recently made her first onscreen debut in the film ‘Maestro.’ In the movie, she played the younger version of Jamie Bernstein. Maya Hawke played the older version. Lea, wearing a leopard print dress and ballet pumps in gold, also walked the red carpet for the first time recently as Dad Bradley Cooper’s date at the premiere of ‘Maestro.’
