Dave Portnoy Opens Up About The Reason Behind Break Up With Silvana Mojica

Dave Portnoy opened up about his break up with Silvana Mojica, his girlfriend. He said they wanted different things in life, and that is the reason behind their split. The 46-year-old Barstool Sports Founder explained the reason behind their split.

Portnoy said, “We were dating for three years, and I guess you get to a point where you think maybe there’s a difference in what somebody wants and what the other person wants, and without going into too much detail, I just didn’t think I could give Silvana kind of what she deserves. She’s so beautiful, she’s funny, she’s smart, she’s all these things.”

Portney admitted that maybe he is the issue here, and he does not feel that “the guy that she is looking for and is going tobe able to provide her with what she needs down the road.” But he denied all the speculation about him cheating on Mojica, and that was the reason behind their break up.

He mentioned he did not plan for any of it to happen. He said, “I got back on a Sunday from traveling; we broke up that Sunday night, and it wasn’t expected. We got into a conversation that was kinda organic, and one thing led to another. It was obviously something that was on my mind.”

Even though Mojica has posted a lot of videos on social media about their break up, he is also struggling with his uncomfortable situation. He said that he lost his best friend but still loves her and is concerned about her.

He wishes the best for her. He said, “I hope that in the best-case scenario in five years, she looks back and she is happy. She has found her soulmate, and she is like, ‘Yeah, that was actually the right thing at that time.’”
