Director Yash Chopra’s Wife, Pamela Chopra, Passes Away At The Age Of 74
The wife of legendary director Yash Chopra, Pamela Chopra, died on the morning of 20th April, she was at the age of 74.
Pamela Chopra was a popular Indian playback singer, film writer, and producer. As per reports, she was in Mumbai’s Lilavati hospital for the last 15 days, under a ventilator, as her health was deteriorating. She passed away this morning and was cremated at 11 am in Mumbai.
Yash Raj Films released a statement saying,
“With heavy hearts, the Chopra family would like to inform that Pamela Chopra, 74, passed away this morning, Her cremation took place at 11 am today in Mumbai. We are grateful for your prayers, and the family would like to request for privacy in this moment of deep sadness and reflection.”

As a playback singer, she sang songs for movies like Kabhie Kabhie, Silsila, Noorie, Kaala Patthar, Chandi, DDLJ, and Mujhse Dosti Karoge! She was also credited for writing Kabhie Kabhie and for costume designing in Sawall and Silsila.
