Dwyane Johnson’s Black Adam Trailer Drops After Fifteen Years Of Casting Announcement
Way before MCU or DCEU were a thing of the pop culture scenario – the Rock was cast as Black Adam in 2007. It has been 15 years since, and finally, we have a clear look at the Rock’s Black Adam.
The trailer dropped on Wednesday, and the fans are going crazy over it. The Black Adam trailer showcases Black Adam in all his brutal aspects that fans waited for years to see. Although Black Adam is the antagonist to the much known Shazam ( starring Zachary Levi), the film is solely about Black Adam as an antihero.
The trailer shows glimpses of Black Adam’s past in the North African nation of Kahndaq and how he was imprisoned for 5000 years. The movie will revolve around the origin story of one of the biggest DC baddies we have ever seen on the big screen.
Black Adam gains his power from the same Wizard as Shazam. Although chosen as a champion before Shazam, Black Adam chooses a different path. Unlike Shazam or Superman, heroism has a different definition to him.
Black Adam is set to battle The Justice Society of America in the movie. The movie casts Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Sarah Shahi plays Adrianna Tomaz, Quintessa Swindell in the role of Cyclone, and Pierce Brosnan wearing the helmet of Nabu as Doctor Fate.
WB released their first look at Black Adam back in October last year during the DCFandome, fueling the hype of the fanbase.
This Wednesday the Black Adam trailer has finally come out, revealing the first look at the major characters. The trailer keeps lots of room for expectations; who knows; we might see a Cameo from Shazam. Maybe a Superman cameo from Henry Cavill in the post-credit scene? We have to keep patience until the movie hits the theatre on October 21.
