‘Friends’ Actor Matthew Perry Aged 54 Found Dead At His L.A Home.
Hollywood lost its favorite sarcastic yet lovable Friend on Saturday
Matthew Perry, best known for playing the character of Chandler Bing in the NBC Sitcom ‘Friends’ is no more. On Saturday, October 28th, he was found deceased in his hot tub at his Los Angeles home. According to Reuters, Emergency Personnel responded to a call about a ‘water emergency’ at Perry’s home in Pacific Palisades. They performed a quick medical assessment to determine that he (Perry) had passed away before their arrival.
Captain Scot Wiliams of the LA Police Department Robbery Homicide Division confirmed Perry’s death. The cause and manner of Perry’s death is yet to be determined by Medical examiners, but according to Captain Scot, there is no indication of any foul play.

Matthew Langford Perry is a household name in the USA and around the world on account of his portrayal of the ever-sarcastic yet lovable friend Chandler Bing in the NBC sitcom ‘Friends.’ Matthew played the role of Chandler in all ten seasons of Friends that ran from 1994 to 2004. Aside from Friends, he also starred in numerous TV shows over the years, such as ‘Boys Will Be Boys,’ ‘The Odd Couple,’ ‘Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip,’ ‘Scrubs,’ and so on.
Matthew Perry has also been in movies such as ‘17 Again’ and ‘The Whole Nine Yards.’ It should also be noted that Perry’s death comes a year after the actor published his highly anticipated memoir, ‘Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing’ in 2022. In his memoir, Perry has talked at length about his struggle with addiction, trips to rehab facilities, and other health scares.
