“Nick looks small and petite, Priyanka looks elder!” Indian Matchmaker Sima Taparia’s shocking statement
Netflix is back with its hit yet controversial series Indian Matchmaker, with Sima Taparia helping millennials find their perfect match. The show aired on 10th August, and it created a controversy faster than ever.
Indian Matchmaker’s very own Sima Auntie shocks the internet with her old-fashioned comment on Nick & Priyanka’s marriage. She highlighted that she doesn’t believe a couple with a significant age gap makes a good pair.
But maybe the matchmaker took it too far with her traditional beliefs when she stated, “But I don’t feel it’s a good match. Sorry to tell you that. They are just married but it’s not a good match. He looks to small and petite in front of her and she looks elder.”
She took it further to justify that “I think when a guy is seven years older, it’s okay. But for the girl to be seven years older, I don’t know. l Maybe I am old-fashioned.”
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, who just welcomed a baby girl, are a perfect family of three. They are the most adorable and loved celebrity couple.
Indian Matchmaker focuses on the ideal South Asian traditions. Despite having received mixed reviews for the first, they are back again for a second season.
