Jenifer Lopez And Ben Affleck Still “Have PTSD” Because Of Their First Romance

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have not fully recovered from their previous trauma. Both of them have PTSD because of how the media put them under scrutiny back when they were first dating.

The “second act” star is currently preparing for the upcoming album release, “This Is Me…Now,” on February 16. This is a sequel to the “This Is Me…Then,” album, which was released back in 2002 and the companion film. This was revealed in a new interview that Variety published on Wednesday.

The new film is going to document her love story with the “Gone Girl” star. But putting the private life in front of all, in the spotlight, makes her nervous. She told Outlet, “But we’re older now. We’re wiser. We also know what’s important, what’s really important in life, and it’s not so much what other people think. It’s about being true to who you are.”

She further explained it to Variety, “As artists, we have to follow our heart, and this is me following my heart and doing something that maybe everybody didn’t think was the best idea, but I had to do it.”

The trailer of the movie, which Affleck co-writes, shows a love letter that he wrote to Lopez back when they were dating in 2002. The singer was asked if the film was a documentary or a scripted feature, and the singer said, “You have to see it and you’ll have to experience it to understand it. That’s why I call it a ‘musical experience.’ Because there’s music, you can see it, you can hear it and then you’ll get to live it.
