Kroy Biermann And Kim Zolciak-biermann Calls It Quit Only A Month After Reconciling

Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak-Biermann can’t make it work and have called it quits again after dismissing divorce only in July.

37-year-old Biermann filed for divorce on Thursday (24th August) from his estranged wife, as per documents that were obtained by Us Weekly. The pair has once again cited their marriage as ‘irretrievably broken.’

He has requested the full physical and legal custody of their four minor kids as well as child support and alimony. Biermann also wants to use their Atlanta-area home exclusively and restrain his former wife from entering.

The Initial Filing For Divorce And Allegations:  

Initially, Biermann filed for divorce from his 45-year-old wife after a marriage of 11 years in May.

As per the court documents during that time by Us Weekly, Biermann described his marriage to Zolciak-Biermann as ‘irretrievably broken,’ asking for ‘the temporary and permanent sole legal and sole physical custody’ of their kids – twins Kane and Kaia, and sons Kash and Kroy. Biermann had also adopted his former wife’s two daughters from her previous relationships, Ariana and Brielle.

Later in that month, an inside source close to the pair told Us Weekly exclusively that the couple was dealing with some financial problems before their break up that ultimately led to the end of their relationship.

At the time, the source explained, “The financial burdens have been a strain on their relationship. Between the tax debt and other financial stresses, it’s been difficult. The tax debt was the straw that broke the camel’s back in their marriage.”

That very month, Zolciak-Biermann filed for a motion to have her former husband drug-tested. At the time, the legal paperwork alleged, “[Zolciak claims to have] seen Respondent smoking marijuana, and she has serious concerns for the safety and well-being of the minor children while in Respondent’s care. She is fearful that the children will be exposed to Respondent’s drug use.”

Amidst her concerns, Zolciak-Biermann was requested to undergo a psychological evaluation by Biermann. Biermann claimed that his former wife had an excessive gambling issue. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum has actually ‘presented very troubling behavior which has accelerated in the months leading up to Petitioner’s filing for divorce and is unable to properly care for the children.’

The Calling Off Divorce And Getting Back Together:  

In June, for her part, Zolciak-Biermann fired back at the claims of the ex-Atlanta Falcons player.

Her lawyer said in a statement, “It’s really sad the way Kroy is causing our divorce to play out in the media like this because it could have a profound effect on our children in the long run. To continuously spread lies in an attempt to paint Kim as an unfit mother for his own gain is harmful and incredibly misleading regarding Kim’s efforts to raise her children.”

A month later, the couple called off the divorce as per court documents that were obtained at the time by Us Weekly.

A source close to the couple spoke to Us about the same in July, mentioning how the pair can change their relationship status in the future. “They’re getting along, so [Kim] called it off. Tomorrow might be different.”

While the two have been getting along, many people in the inner circle believe that the reunion will not last.

An insider told Us, “They are still living together, but every day is an uphill battle. Those close to them think the reconciliation will be short-lived. There’s simply too much bad blood and hatred toward each other. There’s a lot of s–t talking, and it’s hard to see how this will be resolved amicably. They are also not seeking counseling.”
