Nawazuddin Siddiqui Quits The Digital Platform; Says, “I Won’t Do Any More OTT Shows”
Nawazuddin Siddiqui has decided to discontinue the integer platform. He thinks that the level of OTT platforms has been reduced to a dumping ground for redundant shows. This announcement of Nawaz, who was actually a pioneer in connecting Indian audiences with integer media with his famous Netflix series, ‘Sacred Games’, has sent shockwaves through his fans.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Decision To Quit OTT Shows
When he began working on Sacred Games for Netflix, Nawaz said that there was a certain thrill and excitement in the integer media. New talents were given a chance on OTT shows, but that newness has vanished now. The ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ star thinks it’s a racket for huge accumulation houses and performers who are currently referred to as stars on the OTT platform.
Major film producers who are successful in Bollywood have cut profitable partnerships with each of the leading firms successful in the OTT market. As a result, producers are paid astronomical sums to create limitless material. Nawaz was disgusted by this situation, and he lamented that quantity had destroyed quality.

Before the digital dominance and the lockdown, A-listers would distribute their movie in 3,000 theatres throughout the country. People were forced to watch them. But, the OTT platforms have given the audience a plethora of options.
The actor par excellence is concerned about the emergence of an alternative star system on the OTT. He thinks that this star system killed the big screen, and the same will happen to OTT platforms. Some so-called stars on OTT are now claiming large bucks and screaming tantrums like Bollywood A-listers. They forget that content is king.
Current, And Future Projects Of Nawazuddin
Even though Nawaz said he would be quitting the OTT platform, his bucket is filled with many exciting projects. For 2021, we will see the star in several movies like Tiku Weds Sheru, Sangeen, Jogira Sara Ra Ra and Bole Chudiyan. In 2022, his movie Adbhut will be released, and fans are anticipating some significant performances from the star.

We think that Nawazuddin has spoken his heart out about his decision not to continue on the OTT platforms. Whatever his decision is, people must respect that. However, we hope the actor will change his decision and will give us some amazing shows like Sacred Games once again. We wish him all the best for his future projects.
