Neill Blomkamp’s Oats Studios Series Coming To Netflix In October 2021

This spine-chilling package of short films will take you to an enchanting world that you won’t feel like leaving at all.
What Is It About?
Oats Studio Season 1 is directed by visionary director Neil Blomkamp, also known for the films like District 9, Elysium, and Chappi. It will be released on Netflix in the United States on October 1st. It was made by an independent studio, the founder of which is Bloomcamp himself. He claims to help Hollywood to launch some alluring CG films with this entertainment company.
It’s a collection of short films with science-fiction and horror undertones. According to Netflix, it is a collection of innovative brief movies that envisage a post-apocalyptic world and frightening events. This is one of the most popular shorts from the Rakka collection, which was released in 2017.
It was a 22-minutes long movie where Sigourney Weaver played the part of an alien. The setting is a dystopian future where a group of aliens takes over the world. They hold the human survivors of the earth in prison, and we watch them fight the aliens for their survival. It is already available on YouTube with 22 million views, so you can guess how popular it is.

Currently, Blomkamp is busy releasing his new movie, ‘Demonic.’ He is collaborating with IFC Movies to sell this new launch. We are also hearing rumors that Blomkamp will be taking the helm of Alien 5, but no confirmed news has been brought to light yet on this matter.
