Actor Matthew Lewis of the Harry Potter fame came forward to pay tribute to his late co-star from the film Some Kind of Life on Twitter.
“This is so sad. Ray played my dad in the first thing I ever did on TV. Almost 30 years ago. A proper actor with a fascinating career, and I couldn’t have dreamed of a better first experience in this ridiculous industry.”
Lewis wasn’t the only one to pay tribute. Stevenson’s RRR director, SS Rajamouli, was also shocked to hear this terrible news and expressed his grief on Twitter.
“Just can’t believe this news. Ray brought in so much energy and vibrancy with him to the sets. It was infectious. Working with him was pure joy. My prayers are with his family. May his soul rest in peace.”
In this context, the Hollywood Reporter mentioned on Twitter,
“Ray Stevenson, the burly British actor who starred as Volstagg in the Thor movies and as the governor in the recent Oscar-winning Indian hit RRR, has died. He was 58.”
