Shah Rukh Khan’s Son Aryan Sent To Narcotics Custody Till Thursday
Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was denied bail, and has been detained in NCB custody till October 7. The Narcotics Control Bureau had detained him and seven others in the cruise ship narcotics case off the coast of Mumbai on Sunday. Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaaz Merchant were also detained by the NCB till Thursday, along with Aryan Khan.
Aryan Khan’s Bail Was Denied
NCB, the anti-drug agency, has requested that Aryan Khan be held in jail for a more extended period. The agency stated that they need him in custody until October 11 for interrogation. The NCB officials also said that they needed to get their hands on the supplier, and only the customer could help them reach there. The agency also claimed in the court that a worldwide cartel was allegedly engaged in the case.

The 23-year-old said he was a special guest on the cruise ship, and so he thinks it is unfair for NCB to drag him into the full seizure in the case. The custody of Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaaz Merchant was also extended, and the teenagers were in tears after the judge convicted them of a longer sentence.
According to the NCB, the high-profile operation on Sunday yielded 13 grams of cocaine, 21 grams of charas, 22 tablets of MDMA, and 5 grams of MD. They also claimed that Aryan Khan possessed, purchased, and used the prohibited rugs, so there were enough allegations to extend his custody.
Why Does The NCB Want Khan’s Custody?
ASG Anil Singh, appearing for NCB, requested that Khan and two others be held in custody till October 11th. According to him, the agency searched for a source and discovered commercial quantities of prohibited drugs. According to the ASG, there are linkages in Aryan Khan’s conversations that point to a multinational drug ring. He claims numerous suspicious characters have yet to be identified.
The ASG requested additional custody of Khan, stating that while the individual may not be discovered with commercial quantities, detention is necessary to determine the source. It’s essential to figure out where the money comes from and who the source is. So all they want is a couple of extra days of detention, he stated.
The NCB notified the Court at the bail hearing on Sunday that they had seized the accused’s mobile phone chats and had begun an investigation. As a result, the NCB has requested that the three detained people be held in jail for two days to examine the case further.
On Sunday, Khan’s lawyer, Satish Maneshinde, stated that his client had been invited to the cruise party. But, Aryan did not have a boarding permit. He did not even have a cabin on the cruise. The lawyer also said that nothing was discovered in his possession after the confiscation. So, it is unfair to hold him in custody only based on chats.
Closing Thoughts
No matter how bad we feel for Aryan and all the other kids present at the party, we think NCB is doing the right thing, trying to get to the root of this issue. If detaining these kids for a few more days will reveal more information about their drug source, then it’s all worth it.
