Chris Appleton And Lukas Gage Have Split Up: Appleton Petitions For Divorce Due To “Irreconcilable Differences”

Chris Appleton and Lukas Gage split up after almost seven months of whirlwind marriage. Appleton submitted the divorce papers to court on Monday, November 13. According to several media channels, the official date of separation listed on the divorce documents and the reason for divorce are “irreconcilable differences.”

Appleton, who is a celebrity hairstylist, Kim Kardashian being one of his many celebrity clients, got married to Lukas Gage, 28, at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas in April. Kim Kardashian officiated the wedding, and Shania Twain performed for the newlyweds.

The couple had a whirlwind romance – they made their relationship public in February of this year while visiting Mexico for a trip. They also got married only a few weeks after getting engaged.

Coincidentally, just a week before Chris Appleton filed for divorce, we got a behind-the-scenes look at Appleton and Gage’s Vegas wedding on an episode of “The Kardashians” that aired on Hulu.

In that episode, Appleton revealed that the engagement ring that Gage gifted him was produced from the tin of caviar that they had on their first date. The episode from “Kardashian” also featured the moment when Appleton and Gage asked Kim Kardashian to officiate their wedding. To which Kim jokingly replied that they are asking a three time divorcee to officiate their wedding. But she also added that she would be honored to perform the wedding ceremonies.

In that same episode of “Kardashians,” Kim Kardashian was also seen advising the couple to get a prenup. It looks like the former couple took her advice since the divorce papers also show that the couple has a prenup agreement in place.

Neither Appleton nor Gage has made any public comment yet regarding their split-up.
