The “Euphoria” Producer, Kevin Turen, Passed Away At The Age Of Just 44

Kevin Turen, the producer of “The Idol,” the “X” trilogy, and “Euphoria,” passed away just at the age of 44. The cause of death is yet to be known. Jay Penske, CEO of Penske Media Corporation, was close to Turen and released a statement after his death.

Penske said, “Despite his many achievements in Hollywood, Kevin’s greatest passion was his family and friends. He was so proud of his children. He and his wife, Evelina, were resolved that their children grow up with great values and ensure they make a difference in the broader world.

He added, “Our collective heart breaks for them, and we all feel such a profound sense of loss. We will miss Kevin so much, and this town lost one of its brightest rising stars today.”

Turen was popular for working with Ashley Levinson and Sam Levinson and co-founded the Little Lamb Production house together back in 2018.

One of the most popular projects they did together was HBO’s Euphoria starring Zendaya. The drama series is about a teen who is struggling with her drug addiction.  The series is popular for its stylized aesthetics and gritty plot.

Turen also produced another series on HBO known as “The Idol.” this was the brainchild of Sam Levinson, and the series is about a pop star who starts developing a relationship with a cult leader. He was also the producer of “Assassination Nation.” a Levinson film.

Turen not only collaborated with Levinson but also created several films for Ti West, the Indie Director. He is the writer and director of the trilogy “X,” “Pearl,” and “MXXXine.” both Mia Goth plays Maxine and Pearl. He worked with several other directors and production houses and contributed to various popular movies.
