The same report also found out that the actress came in touch with the real-life sex workers from Kamathipura’s red-light area. It’s mainly because the original Gangubai ruled there as the leader for several years. Furthermore, BollywoodLife got a piece of information that Alia’s efforts, observation, and faith in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s vision have let her rule the character.

Now that the long-awaited trailer is out, it leaves the critics in awe of Bhatt’s robust performance. “In Mardon ko kis baat ka guroor (what makes men feel superior)?” Gangubai questions this in the trailer that was released today.

The film is all set to hit the theaters on 25th February 2022, although the previously-decided date was January 6. The film stars Seema Pahwa as well as Huma Qureshi and Ajay Devgan as cameo appearances.
