Jawan Prevue: King Khan and Atlee Has Got a Surpise for the Fans. Stick Around to Know More.

From elaborate action setpieces to fast jump-cuts, Jawan is the second film of 2023 where we see Shah Rukh Khan take over a John Wick’ish role.

Earlier this year, gracing us with chartbuster Pathaan, SRK is again set to deliver monologues and punches while being the absolute heart-throb.

Clocking in at 2 minutes and 15 seconds, the Jawan Prevue gives us an exact idea of what to expect. A lot of Shah Rukh Khan, doing a lot of Shah Rukh Khan-ing. I mean fighting, dancing, flailing his arms, and monologuing. A lot of monologuing. In other words, SRK was the center of attraction in the whole trailer. Atlee was using the star’s power of influence to really market his films.

Apart from SRK, we see a glimpse of Vijay Sethupati. Although not a gripe, given how Sethupathi is the one SRK is going against, I think he should have gotten a little more screen time during the trailer. And this is not just true for Sethupathi; other actors like Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, etc., got very little screen time. Still, somehow, this decision worked in keeping the audience’s interest high.

The Prevue was meant to provide the audience with excitement and the news of its arrival, and it successfully did so. With 8.3 million views in just 5 hours, the trailer is breaking the internet. Film critics are predicting a huge opening for this film. Some are even comparing this trailer with Pathan and predicting a comparative analysis of the openings according to the available metrics.
