Kourtney Kardashian Went Through A Difficult Process Before She Conceived Rocky
Kourtney Kardashian openly discussed the circumstances she went through while conceiving her 6-month-old son Rocky. She disclosed that she had five IVF cycles and had to retrieve three eggs before she conceived.
One of her fans asked her what gave her the strength to keep going during her struggles, and she discussed the matter with them. She mentioned, “I stopped after a year of trying (5 failed IVF cycles, 3 retrievals). My body relaxed, and I believed in God’s plan for my life.”
She added, “Lots of prayers for whatever was meant to be for us,” she continued. “Also lots of optimizing my health. 🙏🏻❤️.” She posted about her struggles on her Instagram handle.
She encouraged a fan who had gone through six IVF cycles, saying, “I know how hard it is to feel like you’re not trying, but believing in God’s plan and saying your prayers is so powerful. All the best!”
It Was Not an Easy Journey for Kourtney and Barker, Even After They Conceived
Kourtney and Travis welcomed their baby boy in November 2023. They have been open about their pregnancy journey from the beginning and talked about it on Hulu’s “The Kardashians.”
During the first season, the eldest Kardashian sister mentioned that her fertility doctor asked her to drink her husband’s semen four times a week. However, in December 2022, Barker and Kardashian revealed in the reality series that they are not trying IVF anymore. They would conceive their child naturally.
They disclosed their pregnancy in the June 2023 concert. However, the pregnancy did not go smoothly. Kourtney went through an “urgent fatal surgery” to save their child’s life and birther Rocky in September. She described motherhood as “the most important job in the world.”
