Leida Margaretha, The “90 Day Fiance” Star, Was Arrested This Friday In Wisconsin
Leida Margaretha was taken into custody for fraud, forgery, and theft. Page Six confirmed the news. The 34-year-old “90 Day Fiance” star was arrested last Friday at Colombia County Jail in Wisconsin.
She was arrested with charges of theft in a business setting, altering the data, and committing fraud against a financial institution. The police of Wisconsin told TMZ on Monday that the owners of Loggerhead Deco, the organization where Leida Margaretha worked, contacted them.
The owners informed the cops that Leida had made “fraudulent payments and withdraws to several outside business accounts and customers” with the use of the company’s information.
The officers mentioned that some of the victims had reported missing thousands of dollars from their accounts and also said that Margaretha might have to face some other additional charges as well, as they are continuing with the investigation.
Margaretha became infamous in season 6 of the reality show TLC. The show used to follow long-distance couples who got three months to get accustomed to one another and get married. Otherwise, they had to face getting separated and finally deported.
Leida met Eric Rosenbrook through an international dating site and moved to the United States from Indonesia, and all of these were documented by the show they aired in 2018.
Her stories were quite exaggerated, and the tall tales, along with the fact that she kicked out Tasha, Rosenbrook’s teenage daughter, from their home, made her the biggest villain in the history of the series.
Rosenbrook and Margaretha deleted all their social media accounts after they received backlash for their shocking parenting decision and also because of their controversial political choices. But before getting out of everything, Margaretha claimed that there was no bad blood between her and Tasha and that she had sorted everything out with her.
