Madonna’s Son David Covers The Popstar’s Face As The Mother-son Duo Skips Town
Madonna is turning 65 soon, and just before her birthday, was spotted leaving for a holidate with her son, David.
Page Six got hold of a few snaps of the Queen of Pop skipping town with David Banda, her 17-year-old son. The Material Girl hit maker appeared to be in good spirits and healthy at the JFK airport as her son put his arm protectively around her shoulder on Wednesday.
The Mother-Son Duo Looked Pretty Good…
The pop star wore a pair of black track pants with an oversized blue jacket and a trendy cap that said, ‘Spiritually Hungry.’
As for David, he was seen sporting a black sweatsuit, headphones around his neck, and sunglasses while he pushed a chic Louis Vuitton suitcase. In one photo, David was spotted covering his mother’s face as she tried hiding behind her black shades.
The Grammy winner was not just accompanied by her son – another man was also spotted with the mother-son duo who seemed to be her bodyguard. Although it is not clear where the mother-son duo is headed yet, the pop star’s 65th birthday is just around the corner on 16th August.
It’s Been Long Since Madonna Has Been Spotted:
This outing marks one of the first public sightings of Madonna since the artist announced that she was postponing her Celebration Tour post a major health scare.
In June, the Like A Prayer singer was rushed to the hospital – she was found unresponsive. Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary, shared on Instagram that the artist had “developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several day stay in the ICU.”
At the time, Oseary had also mentioned that the artist was expected to make a complete recovery. Right before her hospitalization, the Vogue hit maker was spending a lot of time rehearsing for the Celebration Tour.
At the time, a source close to the production told Page Six, “She had been putting in 12-hour days.”
After Madona’s medical emergency, the legendary music icon went on to announce her plans to reschedule the tour dates.
Only last week, she tweeted, “Thank you again for your incredible support and patience over these past few weeks! I’m happy to report that the re-routed tour schedule will be coming in the next few days! See you soon for a well-deserved Celebration!!”
