For his Netflix film, “Serious Men,” Nawazuddin Siddiqui has won a nomination for the best actors in his category. This was commemorated by the 47-year-old actor as he shared this news on his Twitter handle. He is opposed to British celebrity David Tennant for ‘Des,’ actor Roy Nik for ‘Normal, and Christian Tappan for ‘El Robo del Siglo.’
The adaptation of the 2010 novel by author Manu Joseph, “Serious Men,” is directed by Sudhir Mishra. It tells the story of an ambitious underachiever who takes the newly established renown of his kid as a young prodigy into account and improves his family’s fortune.
His protagonist, Ayyan Mani (Siddiquis), is a strong critique, a Tamil Dalit who continues to challenge the system that oppresses people years after generation. The film is about caste inequality.
This nomination is big as it reinforces the desire to create work we believe in and we couldn’t have been more proud to represent India for the @iemmys Awards 2021

The Indian version shows Aarya Sareen as a happily married lady whose life turned head over heels when Tej Sareen (Chandrash Singh), her husband, who is also a pharmacist baron, is shot. The creation of the “Aarya” took a step further following its debut in June last year and was made by Ram Madhvani and Sandeep Modi. The team’s second season is now on the way.

The winners will be revealed at an in-person event in New York City, on November 22, at the 2021 International Emmy Awards.
Three of these nominations for India come after a year. India won the best drama serial award at the 48th International Emmy Awards in November 2020, and secured that victory with Richie Mehta’s directed “Delhi Crime.”
Amazon’s Prime Video’s “Four More Shots Please” bags another Emmy nomination for India for the best comedy category. In addition, Arjun Mathur had secured one more Emmy nomination from India for his performance in the drama “Made in Heaven” as the best actor category.
The Chairman and CEO of the International Academy, Bruce Paisner, said that they are incredibly pleased with their nominees and the unprecedented number of nations. He continued that for those people who were scared that the pandemic would slow down the entertainment industry, this award would be an answer to them.
Closing Thoughts
It is indeed a proud moment for India to secure so many Emmy nominations in one year. We hope the country keeps its faith firm on the nominees because the result will be out soon. But, even if they don’t win the award, getting the nominations is not a piece of cake either. We wish the nominees all the best for this event.
