Robert De Niro Reveals He Just Welcomed His Seventh Child At Age 79

While promoting his upcoming movie, “About My Father,” in a sit-down interview with ET Canada, he revealed he’s a father of seven kids.

The interviewer asked the 79 year old legendary actor about his love language, then De Niro said, “I mean, there’s no way around it with kids. I don’t have to lay down the law and stuff like that. But you just have no choice. And any parent, I think, would say the same thing. You always want to do the right thing by the children and give them the benefit of the doubt, but sometimes you can’t.”

That is when the interviewer asked, “I know you have six kids,” that is when De Niro correcting her, said, “Seven, actually.”

After reaching out to De Niro’s reps, ET Canada actually confirms that Robert De Niro just welcomed his seventh kid. Nothing more has been said about the child or about the mother.

Talking about whether he considers himself a “cool dad” or not, De Niro said, “I’m okay. You know, my kids disagree with me at times, and they’re respectful. My daughter she’s 11, she gives me grief sometimes, and I argue with her. I adore her, but, you know. And my youngest now, that’ll be more to come. But that’s what it is.”
