The All-Time Best Rom-Coms: Comfort Food For Your Soul
“We don’t even have a meet-cue,” said Lara Jean to Peter in the “To All The Boys” series. That’s when it hit me that I do not remember my meet cue as well. Do you all have meet cues? Is this the first time you ever heard the term? Well, it was a first time for me as well. A meet cue is something when two people meet for the first time and feel a spark in between, or just like that. It doesn’t always have to be romantic. This is something I learned from the rom-coms. Rom coms makes us fall in love with the idea of love. They are a guilty pleasure and escape from the harsh realities where people who fall in love often don’t get to be together.
Admit it or not, we all have a soft corner for these movies. Some love it, and some find it to be cliches. You can watch it anytime you want or make a good romantic cozy date out of it. And today, I am going to share my fair list of rom-coms with you.
Rom Coms: The Butter To The Movie World
Rom-coms are a complete package. The first eye contact, the coy smiles when you pass by each other, and the silly-sweet moments show that they are perfect for one another. Who will not love it? The first kiss, those absolute romantic moments of getting close to one another, feels blissful.
But then comes the time when it feels like everything is falling apart, and it is not going to work out after all. But then comes the endings we all wait for. Those happy endings melt our hearts. This is perfect when you want to get lost in those romantic movies.
These are the perfect amalgamation of heartstring-tugging and funny, which is perfect for a cozy date night, or you are just looking for comfort in the arms of those movies and a tub of ice cream after your heartbreak. Let’s not wait anymore and have a look at the list.
