Actress Sonakshi Sinha is in legal danger after a Delhi event planner filed a lawsuit against her, alleging her of accepting Rs 37 lakhs to attend an event and then failing to show up. Pramod Sharma, the event’s organizer, claims he invited the star as the event’s principal guest. The ‘Dabangg’ actress, on the other hand, was a no-show on the day.

Did Sonakshi Actually Scam?

Sharma reportedly approached her manager for a refund when the actress failed to show up for the event, but he failed to refund him back, as per a Times of India story. Sharma then attempted to contact the actress, but she was unavailable.

According to the article, he finally filed a fraud lawsuit against the actress. The 34-year-old actress initially cooperated with the inquiry, even traveling to Moradabad to file the lawsuit. However, the ‘Lootera’ actress allegedly failed to appear for the hearings, prompting a court to declare a non-bailable writ of habeas corpus against her. However, Sinha has not yet responded to the reports.

She was recently in the headlines after a picture of her with Salman Khan went viral, revealing that the two had secretly married. The actress promptly shuttered social media debates by saying, “Are you that stupid that you can’t differentiate between a genuine and a modified photo?” she was enraged by the altered image sparking a nationwide frenzy.
