Sophia Bush Is Generating Dating Rumors With Ashlyn Harris And “Beginning New Chapters”

Sophia Bush is starting from scratch again. She is getting a fresh start. After splitting from Grant Hughes, her husband, the actress is spending time with Ashlyn Harris, the professional soccer player.

An insider source told PEOPLE, “After being friends for years and running in the same social circles, Sophia and Ashlyn went out on their first dinner date a couple of weeks ago. This is so recent, and they are both beginning new chapters.”

37-year-old Harris filed for divorce from her wife, Ali Krieger, the soccer pro, in September. They also share two kids together. The insider also said, “Although it’s new information to the public, Ashlyn and Ali’s divorce began months ago and they have been living apart since the summer.”

The source said, “there is no salacious story,” if they are considering their recent coupling, “though the public may want there to be.” representatives of both Harris and Bush have not responded yet about the matter.

Back in August, it was PEOPLE who made a report exclusively confirming that Hughes and Bush were getting separated after being married for thirteen months. At that time, a source close to the ex-couple said, “Sophia and Grant were friends for 10 years and bonded during COVID through their love of community service. Krieger and Harris met when they were playing for the Nation Team of the United States back in 2010. The duo first broke the news of their engagement in 2019 March and got married in 2022 December.
