The Kashmir Files Box Office Day 5: Continues Its Record-Breaking Run Crossing Rs 60 Crore Mark

The Kashmir Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri and released last week, has wreaked havoc at the movie office. The picture, which was first advertised on a modest scale, is now proving to be a smash, with no signs of a decline in Tuesday’s box office receipts. The 5th day Box Office collection day surpasses the Rs 60 Crore landmark. The total collection of Vivek Agnihotri’s directorial at present stands at Rs 60.20 crore.

What Is the Film All About?

The video, which was released last week, is about the migration of Kashmiri Hindus during the unrest in Kashmir. Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumaar, Mithun Chakraborty, and Pallavi Joshi feature in the film. The film has also been generating news since the trailer was published.

Vivek Agnihotri’s film was billed as having a niche appeal at first. Just 500 theatres throughout the country were reserved for it. On Sunday, 1500 additional screens arrived after the film garnered a thundering reception from the audience.

What Are The Statistics?

Taran Adarsh, the film trade analyst, shares a listicle of all the highest post-pandemic Tuesday collections having The Kashmir Files on the top position. The Final Words

Vivek Agnihotri’s film is likely to make more money in its second week than it did in its first. While the 100 crore threshold is a foregone conclusion, the question is how quickly it will be reached. The film’s momentum will undoubtedly damage Akshay Kumar’s Bachchhan Paandey.
