Alia Bhatt, On How She Bagged Her Debut Hollywood Project: Heart Of Stone!
After making her mark in Bollywood, Alia Bhatt is set to conquer Hollywood with her debut film Heart Of Stone, a Netflix original. In a recent interview, the Gangubai Kathiadwadi actress talked about how she bagged her first international film.
Alia said in her interview that the script of the film was shared with her team by the makers of the film, and they wanted a zoom interview if she agreed.
Besides the script, it was also revealed to her that Gal Gadot would be starring and producing the film. Alia referred to Gal Gadot as a “force,” and was a reason why she accepted to the film.
As quoted by Pinkvilla, Alia said, “You know they would like for you to read the script and if you are interested, we can get you to Zoom to meet with the director. Thanks to Zoom, a lot of this has become possible. You don’t have to fly to a meeting. You can do a virtual meeting.”
She further added, “ I read the script and of course, I heard Gal Gadot was going to be starring in it and was also producing it, which I was extremely excited about because I am a huge admirer of her work and just the person, the force that she is.”
The movie Heart of Stone will also be starring “50 shades of Grey” star Jamie Dornan. After Alia finished shooting, she shared a cute picture with her and Gal Gadot, with the caption, “Heart Of Stone- you have my wholeeeeee heart. Thank you to the beautiful @gal_gadot….my director Tom Harper….@jamiedornan missed you today… and the WHOLE team for the unforgettable experience. I will be forever grateful for the love and care I received and I can’t wait for you all to see the film!!!”
