Ayushmann Is The Guy Who Made It: A Throwback On His Birthday
Ayushmann Khurrana turns 38 today, and fans cannot keep calm. He is truly an inspiring figure which showed that anyone could make it to Bollywood. And that too without having any connection with the industry.
While fans have been posting non-stop to wish their beloved star on his special day, Ayushmann is spending his day with his beloved wife and close ones.
Let us take a look at the times when birthday boy Ayushmann Khurrana spoke wisdom and showed how the pillar to success is hard work and dedication.
“It’s good to be an outsider”
1. Bagging His First Job!
He was a nobody in the industry, to be honest. Had no connections when he started out. All he did was work hard. After graduating from college with a degree in Journalism, he got his very first job as the RJ at India’s popular radio channel, BIG FM.
2. Coming To The Forefront!
After he had gathered experience, as well as a considerable following, as a radio personality, Ayushmann became the host of India’s Got Talent. At the same time, he was also hosting MTV Rock On (Season 2). He even managed to anchor the third season of IPL.
3. Debut As An Actor
“I’ve always made my own decisions and selected a script on my own conviction.”
2012 was a milestone for the birthday boy. He started working with Shoojit Sircar on his debut film Vicky Donor, a romantic comedy, where he was cast opposite Yami Gautam. He played the role of a sperm donor. Pretty unconventional, isn’t it?
4. How Can We Ever Forget The Song?
Even though people flocked to watch the well-executed movie, one thing that stuck with the minds of the audience was his song ‘Pani Da Rang.’ The soundtrack for the movie showcased his yet another talent, singing.
5. Coming Back From Failure
His film Meri Pyaari Bindu was not well received at the box office. However, that did not break his confidence. Nor did it make him change. He kept working forward. And that is the reason why his next two films, Bareilly Ki Barfi and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, were huge hits.
6. Andhadhun And Article 15 Were Game Changers
“I always aspired to do something different.”
When people thought that the actor could do only a certain kind of genre in movies, he shocked us again with two of his best projects. The first was Andhadhun (2018), a thriller, and the secomg was Article 15 (2019), a crime drama.
