Beyonce’s Daughter, Blue Ivy, Trained Intensely After Going Through Social Media Comments Mocking Her “lackluster’ Dance Moves
Blue Ivy proved that she is her mother’s daughter. The 11-year-old recently made her on-stage debut on May 26 during Beyonce’s Renaissance stage tour in Paris, France. She performed a full dance routine alongside her mother’s professional backup dancers while Beyonce sang “My Power.”
Although Blue Ivy’s surprise dance performance made headlines all over the world, she also received a lot of harsh comments on social media, mocking and criticizing her “lackluster moves.”
According to NYT, Beyonce was quite upset when she found out that her 11 year old daughter had gone through the mocking and critical comments. But she was equally thrilled when her daughter “decided to put in the work and train even harder for future stops.”
In Renaissance: A Film by Beyonce, it is revealed that Beyonce was wary about allowing Blue Ivy to perform on stage with her. The singer reveals, “She told me she was ready to perform, and I told her no.”
Eventually, Beyonce changed her mind and Blue Ivy’s performance during the concert in Paris was supposed to be a one-off moment. However, the 11 year old put in the hard work, polished her dance moves and continues to appear and perform in future dance moves.
Some fans also called out those who criticized Blue Ivy’s dance moves and called it “lackluster.” One fan wrote on X (Previously called Twitter), “Blue Ivy read the comments y’all made on her dancing with her own eyes, & STILL decided to train even harder. That’s what we call a QUEEN.”
Another User wrote, “Blue Ivy knowing & reading you all’s comments about her breaks my heart. I know y’all are twisting this to show that she’s ‘resilient,’ but we do need to realize that no child should have to be resilient. The way y’all discuss & treat kids is disturbing.”
