Britney Spear’s Father, Jamie, Is Admitted To The Hospital With A Bad Infection
Britney Spear’s father, Jamie Spears, is admitted to the hospital with some severe health issues. Page Six broke the news and made the exclusive reveal. According to a source, “Jamie has been suffering from a bad infection requiring surgery. He has been hospitalized for weeks in a special infectious disease facility.”
According to another insider relatively close to the family, the 71-year-old man is severely ill. Another report by the Daily Mail states that Jamie was an alcoholic and also went to rehab for it.
The news broke after TMZ made the report in August that Jamie was taken to the hospital “several months ago” to deal with the complications that arose after his knee replacement, which he did back in the mid-2000s.
He Lost A Lot Of Weight Because Of The Medical Procedures
Back then, sources told Outlet that Jamie Spears had “lost more than 25 pounds” and had gotten “extremely thin” because of all the medical procedures. He has not been under the radar since he was forced out as Britney’s conservator in September 2021. This happened after she accused him of being abusive while he controlled her financial, personal, and medical decisions.
A judge from Los Angeles terminated the 13-year conservatorship in less than two months. Since then, there has been a tiff between the father and the daughter. Britney even wrote in an Instagram post, “burn in hell,” addressing her father in October 2022.
A source informed Page Six, “Britney is on a healing journey, but a reconciliation with Jamie is not in the cards.” But Jamie denied all these allegations repeatedly and argued that he saved her life by putting her under guardianship when she struggled with her mental health.
But she reunited with her mother and invited her brother to stay after Sam Asghari filed for divorce. But all about her life will be released shortly in her memoir, “The Woman In Me.”
