Buffy Alums Sarah Michelle Gellar and Seth Green Have a Reunion at Taylor Swift’s L.a. Concert
Taylor Swift held her Eras Tour concert on Saturday, which was turned into a delightful mini Buffy the Vampire Slayer reunion.
Sarah Michelle Gellar shared a picture as well as a video on her Instagram on Sunday. It featured her Buffy costar Seth Green and herself enjoying Swift’s songs at Los Angeles SoFi Stadium. The photo shows Gellar planting a kiss on Green’s cheek as he smiles softly for the camera.
The video clip shows the duo lip-syncing to the music in the darkened arena. Gellar, 46, captioned it, “Officially in my Eras era,” which also featured a picture of her in a glittery white tank top and matching jackets. She posed with her pals backstage, which included director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, singer Este Haim, and screenwriter Alison Rose Greenberg.
Green, 49, has since commented on the post with 3 heart emojis, while a fellow castmate from Buffy, Charisma Carpenter, expressed her disappointment with the comment, “FOMO and Hi 👋 @sethgreen.”
The show marked its 26th anniversary earlier in 2023. To celebrate, Gellar and her onscreen boyfriend David Boreanaz made a nostalgic visit by sharing a throwback picture.
The photo posted to Boreanaz’s IG story featured the co-stars in character. He captioned it, “TBT: This a grumpy moment or brooding moment.”
Gellar reshared the post on her story, replying, “Always brooding you were never grumpy.”
The mother of two shares daughters Charlotte Grace and son Rocky James with husband Freddie Prinze Jr. She featured as the eponymous valley girl and a predestined warrior against the evil forces throughout the 7-season run of the show.
Buffy found her first love in the centuries-old vampire, Angel, who had a spinoff show of his one for five seasons on the same network. Buffy ran from 1997-2003.
Gellar celebrated her birthday in April with other Buffy co-stars sending their best, proving how strong their bond is even after all these years. “Take the day off, sis. No Vampire slaying for you today,” Michelle Trachtenberg commented, who played her younger sister Dawn in the series.
