Cassie’s Lawsuit Against Diddy, Accusing Him Of Rape And Human Trafficking Got Dismissed

The lawsuit Cassie filed against Diddy, where she accused him of being involved in trafficking humans and raping her, has been officially dismissed. As per the legal documents that TMZ obtained, it was on Monday when the case was over for the court of New York.

The document said, “Pursuant to an agreement between the parties, Plaintiff hereby dismisses this action, with prejudice and without costs or fees to either party.”  TMZ made a report on Friday where they mentioned Diddy and Cassie had settled their case and made an announcement.

Cassie gave a statement saying, “ have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for their unwavering support.” Diddy gave a statement which read, “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.”

The settlement was very quick, as Cassie filed the lawsuit on Thursday. Ben Brafman, Diddy’s attorney, said, “just so we’re clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing. Mr. Combs‘ decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.”

Diddy looked distressed on Saturday when he was spotted outside his home in Miami. The lawsuit came as a shock and claimed rape, drug abuse, and human trafficking. It also included an incident that Cassie claimed happened in 2018. She claimed she was trying to break up with Diddy, and he came over to her house and forced sex. She also accused him of stomping and beating her several times throughout their relationship. The terms of the settlement are not yet disclosed, but the case was dismissed.
