“Toy Story 5” And “Frozen 3”; Disney Announces Sequels To Three Mega Movies!
On 9 February 2023, the world-famous animated studio Disney finally announced that they are working on the sequels to three major hit movies. These are Toy Story 5, Zootopia 2, and Frozen 3. After years of waiting, Disney fans are now elated at the news of this confirmation.
“The world-famous studio announced that Toy Story 5 and Frozen 3, as well as a follow-up film to 2016 motion picture Zootopia, are all in the works,” The Sun reported.
Disney CEO Bob Iger spoke to the news channel on a call where he mentioned, “I’m so pleased to announce that we have sequels in the works from our animation studios to some of our most popular franchises – Toy Story, Frozen and Zootopia.”

Kristen Bell, who starred in Frozen, had teased about Frozen 3 on Jimmy Fallon stating, “Idina recently said she would do it. And I feel like if we’re all in, like, what are we waiting for? We want it, let’s do it.”
The Toy Story franchise, which revolves around the world of toys with Woody and Buzz Lightyear taking the lead, was started in 1995 with its first film. The sequels then were released in 1999, 2010, and 2019 under the title Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3, and Toy Story 4 respectively. Zootopia (2016) was the only Pixar movie that did not have any sequel. But fans are delighted to learn that they will get to see more of Judy, Nick, and others!
