Former Mr. India Contest Winner Manoj Patil Attempts Suicide, Blames Actor Sahil Khan For Harassment
Success does not come without depression, it seems. We saw how the tension of being outcasted in Bollywood forced a big-time celebrity like Sushant Singh Rajput to commit suicide. The same feeling of being harassed also drove the former winner of Mr. India, Manoj Patil, to commit suicide.
Who Is Manoj Patil?-His Journey
Manoj Patil was born in the year 1992. He started working from an early age, and by the time he was 24, he won the ‘Mr. India Men’s Physique Overall Championship title. He also became the winner of the Sheru Classic IFBB Pro Card in 2019. From then, he started working as a bodybuilder, trainer, athlete, and renowned model.
He was the son of a mediocre family. But, his passion for having his own income drove him to sell milk, distribute newspapers, and wash cars from the age of 13. He started taking part in several bodybuilding contests from the age of 18. He won quite a few of those competitions. But, soon after, he won a silver medal in the Mr. Maharashtra contest and a gold medal in the Mr. Mumbai contest.
The Doom of Manoj Patil’s Life
As far as we know, Manoj Patil is quite successful in his field. But last night, he tried to commit suicide between 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m. by ingesting sleeping pills. This unfortunate incident took place in his suburban residence of Oshiwara. According to his manager Pari Naaz, his condition is critical right now.
A few days before this incident, Manoj Patil submitted a complaint letter to the Oshiwara police against the actor Sahil Khan. Patil said that Sahil Khan was defaming him all over social media and was even distributing his phone number everywhere.
According to Manoj Patil’s mother, Sahil Khan was personally harassing her son, and it went to such a greater extent that Manoj even talked of ending his life to his mother. She also said that as long as the rivalry was strictly professional, it was okay. But, when Sahil Khan started attacking the athlete personally, it became too much for him to endure.
Manoj Patil bought the sleeping pills from a local chemist shop last night while returning home with his friends. His friends said that they did not know that he purchased the drugs. As soon as he reached home, he ingested the pills and fell unconscious. His parents rushed him to the hospital; we haven’t received any news of his recovery yet.
What We Think
Starting from his parents to the local MNS leader Suraj Sonawane-everyone testifies that Sahil Khan was harassing Manoj Patil. Sahil Khan has not disclosed any comments on this incident yet. But, we hope Manoj survives this incident and gets back on his feet soon. We pray for his fast recovery.
