The Mystery Behind The ‘olivia’ Tattoo Harry Styles Shows Off On Yacht Trip
Undoubtedly, Harry Styles has an impressive collection of creative tattoos and that always keeps people talking about the As It Was singer. However, recently, his tattoos got papped, and fans have been going Wilde!
On Friday, the Watermelon Sugar was papped in Bolsena (Italy), casually hanging out with friends Jacquelyn Jablonski (Victoria’s Secret model) and James Corden on a yacht. In one snap, Styles can be seen wearing nothing but green trunks, revealing his leg tattoo that apparently says ‘Olivia.’
Netizens on the internet immediately began to speculate that the scripted body art is actually a dedication to his former girlfriend, Olivia Wilde.
The pair first met in September 2020 on the sets of Don’t Worry Darling, and in January 2021 stepped out together as a couple while attending a wedding. Their romance came immediately after 39-year-old Wilde’s long-term relationship ended with Jason Sudeikis – she has two kids with Sudeikis.
Although Wilde and Style called it quits amicably in November 2022, social media fan accounts of Styles pointed out that it is highly possible that the former One Direction band member got Olivia’s name tattooed when they were still together. It is just that the tattoo came under visibility recently.
In May 2022, a user on Twitter shared pictures of the 29-year-old Grammy winner filming his recently released music video of Daylight, where this particular tattoo was peeking out. The tattoo could also be a reference to an old One Direction song of the same name – you can find the song on Made In The A.M. album released by the band in 2015.
Styles and Wilde continued to be in a ‘good place’ as per a source who spoke to PEOPLE after their breakup.
An insider close to Wilde also told PEOPLE, “She’s focused on her kids and co-parenting with Jason. She and Harry are good friends, there’s no animosity whatsoever. Plus, she’s got many different directing projects in the works.”
Styles, on the hand, recently wrapped his 2-year Love on Tour.
