Is It Actually Over? Kim Kardashian Says She Has Moved Past Her Year-Long Feud With Taylor Swift
Kim Kardashian is finally over her year-long feud with Taylor Swift. She wants Taylor Swift to move on as well. She revealed this after the 14-time Grammy winner dropped a track about the Skims founder in the album “The Tortured Poets Department.”
It has been years, and Kardashian finds it difficult to understand why Swift is still harping on the matter. Swift released two albums on Friday, and one of those had a song about her year-long conflict with Kim Kardashian.
In the song, “thanK you alMee,” she sings about how she dealt with a bully, which made her strong in the end. It did not go unnoticed that the letter marked in capital spelled Kardashian’s first name out loud.
She sings, “All that time you were throwin’ punches, I was buildin’ somethin’ / And I can’t forgive the way you made me feel. Screamed ‘F—k you, Aimee’ to the night sky, as the blood was gushin’/ But I can’t forget the way you made me heal.
Swift, West, And Kardashian: The Infamous Feud
The feud between Taylor Swift and Kanye West began in 2016, and Kim Kardashian also became involved in the feud. Though the feud dates back to the stage of the VMA Awards, it actually involved Kim when West and “Famous” attacked Swift.
The track had the lyrics, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that bitch famous.” Swift did not take the matter lightly and expressed her displeasure that West called her a “bitch.”
Kardashian, after that, released an edited phone call between her then-husband and Swift. It seemed like West had already asked for Swift’s approval before releasing the song. However, Swift claimed that he only asked about the “sex” line in the phone call and nothing else.
Even though Kim mentioned that she wanted to get past the feud, she posted a picture with Karlie Kloss last Tuesday. Swifties are wondering about the same, as Kim and Kloss have never been close friends, and Kloss and Swift have been falling out since 2017.
