Matthew Perry’s Sudden Death Has Left Jennifer Anniston Struggling Acutely
As revealed by sources close to Page Six, Jennifer Anniston’s friends are concerned about her in the aftermath of Matthew Perry’s death. His untimely death at the age of 54 has shocked her, and she is not doing very well, as shared by a well-connected source in the industry.
The source said that, “Out of the remaining five, Jen and Courteney [Cox] are reeling the most, and Jen is probably the one who is struggling most acutely.”
“It’s a second massive loss in less than a year, with the one-year anniversary of her dad’s death just around the corner. She still hasn’t fully regained her footing from that, and now this has just completely knocked her off her feet,” the source continued.
The well-connected Industry source also added that “She (Jennifer Anniston) is trying to regroup and recover, but it’s been a completely devastating blow,”
Jennifer Anniston, along with four other ‘Friends’ cast members, which included Courtney Cox, Matt Le Blanc, Lisa Kudrow, and David Schwimmer, attended Matthew Perry’s Funeral on Friday and mourned him.
Matthew Perry’s Funeral was held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles. Warner Bros. Studios, where Jennifer Anniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courtney Cox, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, and Matt Le Blanc had worked together for over a decade while filming for the hit NBC sitcom ‘Friends.’
While the five attended Matthew Perry’s service, they did not join Perry’s family and close friends for the burial.
The five surviving cast members had previously released a joint statement four days after Matthew Perry’s untimely demise at his home in Los Angeles. In the statement, they mentioned that, “We were more than just cast mates. We are a family. There is so much to say, but right now, we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.”
