Joe Jonas Puts in request to dismiss Divorce case in Miami Court after “successful mediation” with Sophie Turner

Following a “successful mediation” between Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner regarding the custody of their two children, the Jonas Brothers member submitted a request to dismiss his divorce petition in Miami Court on Wednesday, October 12.

After four years of marriage, Joe Jonas filed for divorce from Sophie Turner in Miami Court. Sophie Turner responded to her ex-husband’s divorce petition by countersuing him for “immediate return” of their children and also filed her own divorce petition in UK.

As per the court documents acquired by Page Six, Turner and Jonas reached “various agreements” and plan to “pursue an amicable resolution of all issues.

Earlier this week, the estranged couple announced that they have decided to share custody of their two children – 3-year-old Willa and 1-year-old Delphine. Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas will have the children for two weeks at a time and will continue to hand over custody to each other till January 7, 2024. This arrangement means that the children will be able to spend Thanksgiving with their father and Christmas with their mother.

On Tuesday, in a statement addressed to Page Six, the former couple mentioned, “After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the US and the UK.” They continued, “We look forward to being great co-parents.”

The day after releasing the statement, the “Devotion” actor and frontman of Jonas Brothers Brand released a cryptic message on his social media about “doing the right thing.” In the photo shared by Joe Jonas on his instagram, he was seen staring at an inspirational message in a mirror, “I am at the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing.”
