Kelsea Ballerini Dresses Up As Barbie To Host Halloween Costume Party in Partnership with The Original Donut Shop Coffee
Kelsea Ballerini threw a costume party at Beauty & Essex in New York City on Wednesday night a few days before Halloween in partnership with The Original Donut Shop Coffee. Kelsea, 30, attended her own party dressed as cowgirl barbie which was a perfect recreation of one of the costumes worn by Margot Robbie’s titular character in the film Barbie.
The country singer wore a hot pink button-up vest and lace-up bell-bottom pants. She accessorized her outfit with a white cowboy hat, a hot pink handkerchief tied around her neck and long and slightly wavy white blonde wig. Kelsea finished off her look with soft pink lipstick, rosy cheeks and feathery lashes.
While Kelsea took inspiration from Margot Robbie’s Barbie for her glam Halloween party look, her boyfriend Chase Stokes, 31 opted for a more casual look. He was dressed in streetwear -blue jeans, a jacket, a hoodie and a baseball cap underneath the hoodie. Ballerini and Stokes were spotted exiting the event hand in hand.
Kelsea Ballerini’s favorite holiday is Halloween and attending the event brought back fond childhood memories for the country singer. She said to WWD, “Halloween is a fun time where you can just play pretend for a night.” She also talked about playing dressing up when she was a child. “I had a big trunk full of thrift shop finds and my playtime was just getting all glam, playing in my mom’s makeup and wearing all these fun costumes,” She continued.
The country singer recently completed the final phase of her Heartfirst Tour and now she is fully concentrating on renovating her new den in Nashville, which she purchased last fall from her friend Kacy Musgraves.
