The Cause Behind, The Death Of Suzanne Somer, Finally Came Out This Thursday
The official reason behind Suzanne Somer’s death is finally revealed. The Blast obtained her death certificate on Thursday, which showed that the actress died of breast cancer which had spread to her brain.
The outlet also listed the reason behind her death as “breast cancer with metastasis to the brain.” an autopsy was conducted but not completed, but the biopsy confirmed the other factors that contributed to her death, such as hydrocephalus and hypertension.
The “Three’s Company’s” actress passed away “peacefully at home” after fighting a long battle with breast cancer on October 15, at the age of 76. It was on October 18th when Alan Hamel, her husband, and Bruce Somers, her son, celebrated what could have been Somer’s 77th birthday.
The family posted a video on Suzzane’s Instagram and gave the caption, “Thank you for the outpouring of love and affection for Suzanne. So many of you have asked what you can do to support our family. The most comforting gesture for us is to hear how Suzanne affected all of your lives.”
The family also requested her fans to share their best memories of the actress and if she has impacted their lives in any way. They mentioned, “We have set up a Tribute Book at SuzanneSomers.com. We would greatly appreciate it if you would add your comments. It helps for us to hear how her legacy of love lives on in all of you.”
Bruce, 57, also wrote a thoughtful tribute to her “warrior” mother on social media that read, “She soared higher than most can dream. She protected those who didn’t have a voice. She asked the questions most didn’t know to ask. She was a friend, a wife, a sister, a daughter, an entertainer, an icon, and a legend. But to me, she was just Mom. I had the privilege as the only person who could call her that.”
