She said that she connects to the character of Penelope Fetherington, as she is also struggling to get out there and step into the lights, just like she did.
She also shared a few pictures of her with Luke Newton from their tour and talked about how they have become comfortable with each other while filming this season. During her interview with Teen Vogue, she mentioned that she and Luke even lounged naked.

It was between shoots, and they were so comfortable with each other that they did not feel uncomfortable at all. It was after the big sex scene, one of the most intense scenes of the season, and they were just relieved after they were done filming it.
Newton mentioned that his platonic relationship with Coughlan made it easy to shoot the part. It becomes easy when you share a deep bond with the person and trust them. The new season, precisely the first part, is releasing on May 16, and now you know what to expect.
