Matthew Perry’s Death Certificate Released: We Can’t Stop Crying!

Authorities have filed for paperwork actually finalizing the death of Matthew Perry. The L.A. County Department of Public Health released the actor’s legal death certificate after finding out about his untimely death on 28th October in his new hot tub.

E! News was the first one to obtain the certificate that stated how he was actually buried at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in LA, very close to Warner Bros. Studios, where he had filmed his famous sitcom during its long run between 1994 and 2004. The 54-year-old actor was made to rest on 3rd November at a private funeral, with costars and pals coming together to honor the 5-time Emmy nominee.

It also notes that the cause of his death continues to be deferred after the authorities confided to NBC News only last month about how his initial results from the autopsy were actually inconclusive since a toxicology report was still pending.

The paperwork also stated that the date of Perry’s death happens to be 28th October at 4:17 p.m., and that too at his home in the Pacific Palisades right outside LA.

A spokesperson from the fire department told E! News previously how officials came across an “adult male unconscious in a stand-alone hot tub” after responding to a call during that time.

On 30th October, LAFD Captain Erik Scott said, “A bystander had brought the man’s head above the water and gotten him to the edge, then firefighters removed him from the water upon their arrival. A rapid medical assessment, sadly, revealed the man was deceased prior to first responder arrival.”

In Perry’s death certificate, the authorities spoke about how there wasn’t any significant condition that contributed to the death. The document confirmed how Perry never got married, though he was engaged to producer and manager Molly Hurwitz between 2020 and 2021.

She took to Instagram to say, “No one in my adult life has had a more profound impact on me than Matthew Langford Perry. I have tremendous gratitude for that, for everything I learned from our relationship. While I loved him deeper than I could comprehend, he was complicated, and he caused pain like I’d never known.”
